Class Offerings and Descriptions:
Sessions are an inner and outer wellness journey. Customized to fit the needs and experience of your choice, while giving specialized attention to the individual or group. Classes that I offer are founded on the principles of Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga which focus on the path toward wellness and consciousness. Through the practice of physical postures, movement in conjunction with awareness of the breath permits practitioners to develop mental focus and to connect the mind, body, and heart/spirit.
Basic Hatha class-
THIS CLASS WILL FOCUS ON LONGER HOLDS IN INDIVIDUAL POSTURES (ASANAS) AT A SLOWER AND MORE MEDITATIVE PACE. STARTING WITH SUN SALUTATION FUNDAMENTALS WORKING ON BUILDING STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY AT A SLOWER PACE. THE CLASS WILL INCLUDE BREATH WORK, FLOOR POSES, STANDING/BALANCING POSES, AND SUPINE POSES. WE WILL BE HOLDING POSTURES LONGER IN THIS CLASS WITH A FOCUS ON BEING STEADY WITH EASE (STHIRA/SUKHA).THIS IS AN ALL LEVELS CLASS.
Gentle Vinyasa Flow-
POSTURES ARE SYNCHRONIZED WITH THE BREATH CREATING A FLOWING SEQUENCE. STARTING WITH SUN SALUTATION FUNDAMENTALS WORKING ON BUILDING STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY AT A SLOWER PACE. THE CLASS WILL INCLUDE BREATH WORK, FLOOR POSES, STANDING/BALANCING POSES, AND SUPINE POSES. WE WILL BE HOLDING POSTURES LONGER IN THIS CLASS WITH A FOCUS ON BEING STEADY WITH EASE (STHIRA/SUKHA).THIS IS AN ALL LEVELS CLASS.
Fire Vinyasa Flow-
THIS CLASS IS DESIGNED TO GET YOU "FIRED UP" PURIFYING AND DETOXIFYING THE MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT. WE WILL BE BUILDING A LOT OF INTERNAL HEAT WHILE CULTIVATING STAMINA, STRENGTH AND FLEXIBILITY. THIS ENERGETIC CLASS WILL INCLUDE A VARIETY OF POSTURES; SUN SALUTATIONS, MIXED WITH STANDING/ BALANCING POSES, FLOOR POSTURES AND TWISTS. SYNCHRONIZING OUR BREATH WITH THE MOVEMENT HARMONIZING THE WHOLE BODY. WE GO ALL OUT IN THIS CLASS! YOGA EXPERIENCE IS HELPFUL PRIOR TO STARTING THIS CLASS ALTHOUGH NOT NECESSARY.
Detox and Balance Flow- Dynamic movement coupled with alignment, breath and continuity of awareness. Purifying and detoxifying the mind, body and heart/spirit. Synchronizing our breath with our movement we will be building a lot of internal heat while energizing the body, building strength and flexibility . This energetic class will include a variety of postures ; including sun salutations, standing, seated, twisting, arm-balancing and inverted postures. Each student will be encouraged to practice at their own level - pose variations / modifications are provided. This is an intermediate class that moves at a quick pace. Having some Yoga experience is helpful prior to starting this class.

Yin Yoga- This is a deep, slow paced class where postures are held for 3 - 5 minutes. Yin Yoga targets the deep connective tissues, the fascia that covers the body, ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised. Props are often used to allow you to completely relax and rest into the poses. Holding postures like this is can be compared to spending time in meditation. Yin is a great way to stimulate the parasympathetic nervous (rest & restore) system.
Yoga Nidra-Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation designed to take you to a state of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. "30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of 3 to 4 hours of sleep." This form of deep rest allows you to fully let go allowing the mind and body to restore to its natural state of balance. Traditionally, after beginning with a few minutes of movement to prepare the body for the deep rest; Yoga Nidra is done with the practitioner resting comfortably in savasana (corpse/resting pose), sometimes we will bring in some props for back support with blankets and bolsters . The systematic meditation will take the practitioner through the pancha maya kosha (five layers of self). The practitioner will set an sankalp (heartfelt intention). Setting a sankalpa during Yoga Nidra is extremely powerful as it plants the individuals seed in fertile soil of the unconscious that help support and guide one's life to the individual's greatest heart desires. Yoga Nidra help restore creativity and has endless healing benefits mentally, physically and spiritually.
Chair Yoga - Chair Yoga is designed for the practitioner to receive all the benefits that yoga has to offer safely and conveniently in a chair. These class are excellent for anyone especially those who have difficulty transitioning to and from the floor, has limited range of motion, is desk bound or is a senior. Chair yoga allows practitioners to perform postures (asanas) while seated and standing, using the chair for support. Chair yoga is incredibly beneficial to anyone looking to enjoy the benefits of traditional yoga who may need extra support!

- One on One/Private Instruction - $65hr
- Workshops/5-week Sessions - $65 (1 class per week/group classes)
- Semi Privates, Parties, Teams and Groups are unique, please inquire for rates.
*These rates are for sessions located at our studio. If our program comes to your location additional rates will occur for time and travel.
